Moved to Eureka, Ca. as my parents were born here, love the weather and of course the REDWOODS! Would like before I pass to say Hello to my high school sweetheart Linda Stuck, have not seen her but only once when I got out of the service ( NAVY) at the OLD A & W. , long gone now just like the Wright Spot. Our old Napa High is offices now, and the Chicken Delight has gone also, oh how I miss Chicks Burgers across the street, oh how Napa has changed to the WEALTHY, but roots are roots although I was born in VALLEJO, heartbroken to see so much Homeless there, so sad. Gary Barker had a Dodge dealership up here, bought a New Ram from him, and did not even recognize him, oh how we have changed, did not even recognize my first girlfriend NANCY MILLION either! BUTTERCREAM Bakery is about the only place left, not the same though, love the owner's wife, she was Nancy Millions best friend!
School Story

Was not known for anything and did not fit in! LOVED the print shop teacher, he was so nice. Carol Ferrand was a crush also, sorry baby girl, If I had not brought my father's Fed Foxx 33 1/3 record to your house, things may have turned out different, what a shellderd life we lived then, ha ha! I did not go to elementary school in Napa, so was always an outsider, felt lonely as all my friends were in Vallejo and no way to ever visit, BUT Linda Stuck took a likening to me, I loved her dad who passed away our senior year, SO SAD. Mike Phelps took over when I went into the Navy in 1961. Anyone can email me : mci91943@gmail.com, good or bad would love to hear from anyone as we are up in years now, but in High School, just happy go lucky, would like to hear from CHIEF, the guy with the "56 Ford yellow & White 4dr Hardtop with the back door handles molded off with station wagon taillights, how you doing? .

REMEMBER my party in my parents garage on Greenbach street in the 10 grade or it could have been the 9th grade, oh well had a crush on you and was to shy to tell you, Happy Birthday, glad to see you in good health as I am 80 now, you were NOT at the region as I was looking for you!! At our age, this could be the last time we could see each other, just saying (THE TRUTH) I am looking forward to our get together, wanted to come from Eureka, Ca. to Napa in my GREYHOUND BUS, but at $7.39 a gallon at this date (june5th) and 6 to 8 miles per gallon, it's cost prohibited. The motel rates in Napa are unreal, $249.00 a night at Motel 6 and we want to stay 2 nights. We were able to get a room in Vallejo for $110.00 a night, Wow wine country is a money maker now days! It was a sleepy town in 1961. Want to meet everyone there, please introduce yourself to me and refresh my memory, as it's not what it was in 1961.
